A. We are all doing great thank you for asking!
Q. I’m impressed with the Killer Live Performances from your videos of your MySpace page, can you tell us about your tour coming up on January 30th, which bands will be appearing on this tour and will this tour cover the entire eastern USA area?

Q. Will any live video footage be recorded from your upcoming tour?
A. Yes, We have a lot of people always taking live footage of us. We are actually surprised on how many people take video footage of us.
Q. It’s been through many tours that helped Rose Funeral’s success in landing a record deal with Metal Blade Records what great bands have you shared the stage with?
A. We have had the privilege of sharing with sharing the stage with such bands as Darkest Hour, The Red Chord, Black Dahlia Murder, The Red Chord, Unearth, The Faceless, Dead To Fall, As blood Runs black, Walls of Jericho, Carnifex, Emmure, Animosity and Too Pure To Die!
Q. Can you tell us about your upcoming Album The Resting Sonata, the collection of songs, their themes and lyrical content?
A. The Lyrical content and theme is mainly about destroying God, Death & Murder.

Q. I noticed that the sounds are more forceful, evil and brutal than your previous Albums who is helping with the recording, mixing and mastering The Resting Sonata.
A. Actually we self produce the album (Crucify. Kill. Rot) in a room in Cincinnati, Ohio and we learned a lot from that experience. The resting Sonata was recorded at a studio in Ohio called The Ruckus Room and it gave us a chance to really experiment with our sounds especially live.
Q. What inspires or motivates the band to come up with some gruesome imagery in their songs?
A. When we were younger in the hardcore scene we got tired of everyone preaching so we decided to voice our true thoughts and we figured everyone was tired of it as well. We really like to express the horrible truths about this world.
Q. Do you plan on producing any kick ass videos from the song tracks in The Resting Sonata?
A. Yes, We are unsure at the moment. We are undecided between God’s Demise or Left To Rot.
Q. Who writes these lyrics and are the themes based on murder, destruction and crimes and destruction?
A. The lyrics and themes on this particular album were brought together by our vocalist Timmy Russell and our guitarist Ryan Gardner.

Q. Who is the Artist that came up with the brutal graphic cover for The Resting Sonata?
A. Daniel Mcbride. We had the idea of what we wanted and he pretty much painted the picture. Daniel has done artwork for bands like Suicide Silence, Necrophagist, Abigail Williams, and Darkest Hour.
Q. Can you tell us about The Rose Funeral Fan Art Contest advertised on your MySpace page?
A. Yes, it’s pretty simple.
All you have to do is create your own album artwork and post it as your main picture on your myspace page. Once you have done that you message us letting us know and we top friend you. Once the contest ends on January 20th we will just choose the top three winners and contact them directly letting them know they won!

A. Yes, Of Course.
